I’ve attached an information flyer that should answer your questions. Your cooperation would be greatly appreciated in order to help our waste program 1.v. The collection schedule shows that your area, Oakridge Centre, has pick-up on Tuesdays and Fridays. Please note that there’s no pick-up on Wednesdays in any neighbourhood, but you have the option of 2.v, if necessary. Cardboard of all sizes is recyclable, whereas small boxboard used in products like 3.v goes in your organic green bin. Regarding plants that were sprayed with pesticides, the dead plants go into organics, but the empty pesticide container 4.v. Finally, any item that cannot be recycled or is not considered organic waste should be 5.v. I understand your opinion that the Waste Diversion Program can be inconvenient, but we recently extended our pick-ups to twice a week to assist our residents in reducing waste. Regards, Ella Fineberg
